I've owned a TL-Six and a TL-Five.
Now I own a TL-Six again!

Great basses. Highly overlooked.
Agree. I have a purple TL-Six that I picked up for $750. Awesome bass. I also have a Rick 4001. I can't see buying any more basses.

Great basses. Highly overlooked.
Wow, that is so far beyond cool. One of the nicest rigs I've seen on this site .. or anywhere. Good score !
had it into the shop and all the jacks were replaced and he said the driver was fine
well I got it back and it is surely not fine... so now I get to hoist this bad boy back to the shop. Argh!I notice that the Millenniums are cheap. I mean, is it a good axe despite a the price tag?
And what's the difference between the old Millenniums (the one with the MM style PU bridge PU & the Jazz neck PU) and the new ones (Both MM style PUs)
Are the old ones as good as the new ones?
I never tire of posting this picture, even though it's an entry-level bass. It's just so pretty!

...Try carrying THIS Baby up & down steps! 120 Lbs...
Oh, I did-for thirteen years! Two of them. By myself. My house is on pilings...and I'm a little guy!
so, like i said, i will post my bass to.it's a Peavey, but the model, don't know it yet for sure.it looks like its a NTB4(like A.J.from peavey.com sayd, but he wasn't sure).i do know that it's an european model, so u wont find this over there...i just bought it some fender 7150 round...great strings, and i put it new tuners , Gotoh...i would like to change the pickups, to something newer, but seems like nothing fits....
it's passive, and sounds pretty great

My three USA Millennium 5 Pluses:

I played a 4 string USA Millenium around Christmas time. Looked very much like the one on the far right.
They were asking $775 for it. Had it been a 5 string and I'd not been bass shopping for someone else, then I'd had bought it. Had a very nice rich tone to it and the action was quite comfortable.
Ironicly, the bass I did purchase was a Millenium BXP 5 string. Its not mine, but for $250 the thing cant be beat.

I gig with mine regularly, and I would hesitate to call it just an "entry level" bass.
It sounds great, is light as a feather, and plays like a dream-really. I can't believe it is only a two hundred dollar bass.
Sure, it's great for beginners. Actually, IMHO it's good for just about any level. It's all in what you make of it, I guess.
That bass of yours does look sweet! Enjoy![]()
