Just got back from a hang at Jorg's place and here's the report:

The 15+ is a killer!!! The main reason why I got to know Jorg was because I sprained my back really bad a few years ago carrying my single 15 cabinet that weighed about 70 or 80 lbs. I went to Jorg's to try out his stuff and I've been a happy bassist ever since! After a few years, Jorg finally has a single 15 and it is nothing compared to the one that killed my back.

The overall sound is very clear and balanced, not muddy or boomy at all unlike previous single 15's that I've owned in the past. The size is also perfect! It is going to be a great standalone cab. Very portable, loud, clear, and lightweight!

I also owe you guys a review of the 1215L that I got a couple of weeks ago. All I can say is that the cabinet is in your face clear and very balanced. The lows are thundering. I've played it in a jazz/fusion setting (medium sized room that holds about 150+ people) and a latin band/pop setting (at the glass church Crystal Cathedral). These 2 times I've used it, the cab was mainly a stage monitor for me. The overall volume was not too loud that it blasted everyone on stage. Just with moderate stage volume, I could hear everything and hear the lows were crawling onstage. I am very happy with the results and it is everything that I expected it to be.

Another thing that I forgot to mention was the new 1212L! We were too busy testing it and ABing it with the current 1212L. Man that thing is killin! Check out Yohann's thread for a sneak peak of the new 1212L:

You guys know about Schroeder's new single 15L? Its freakin' 29LBS! And available in 4 ohms.

Dang!

Just saw that. I've been wanting a 15" ever since I just finished a run with my Univox amp. I really loved the roundness of the 15" and was going to wait until I had the means to contact Jorg about making one. But now that he's making them ANYWAY... :bassist::bassist::bassist:

Hi all!

My 410L retro has been here a week now.. it was shipped across the Atlantic to my doorstep within 10 days of speaking to Jorg. Amazing!

Anyway... how cool is this?

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

When it arrived, it had a little bit of a flutter when I hit the low G. Jorg assured me he'd send a new cabinet over immediately if the problem wasn't fixable. He's a star. However, it was sorted in five minutes with a dab of silicon sealant. :)

I've only used it for two shows so far, and even though the speakers probably haven't opened up yet, it's as punchy as hell! It's a perfect match for my bottom-heavy MESA heads, I think.

Frustratingly, the next few gigs are acoustic shows and only require my MESA Scout. Roll on the full band gigs next week!

I'll give a full review when it's had a chance to bed in...

Congrats, that's a cool looking cab! :D
