Started playing in oct. Bought the ibanez gsr200 at a pawnshop. It's older, passive setup. Bought the Squier Jazz bass added a black pickguard. I love it. It's got punch.

Welcome to tb, welcome to bass playing, and you know - both decent 1st (or second) basses by most standards. Find some like-minded friends and join them in making music together, you'll learn all the more faster!

Reminds me of a G&L L2000

Yeah it's great. I had an L-2000 for a time and this one just blows it away. I sold it thereafter. There's not a tone I haven't found with it. Looks great, too.

What is that tiny, tiny P-bass looking thing next to the Ricky? I've heard of short scale but that looks like a new tiny scale, lol.
