Started playing in oct. Bought the ibanez gsr200 at a pawnshop. It's older, passive setup. Bought the Squier Jazz bass added a black pickguard. I love it. It's got punch.

Welcome to tb, welcome to bass playing, and you know - both decent 1st (or second) basses by most standards. Find some like-minded friends and join them in making music together, you'll learn all the more faster! :bassist:
 
The case for my Vintage Pro IV finally arrived after a 2.5 month wait. Now I can finally take the bass out of the house.

Thank you. I've been blessed to have some folks around to help point me in the right direction, learning wise. I play every day. I have found a new passion, I'm in awe of the new language I've been given access to.
