Oh, man. Extremely sweet, Juneau.
Just left the shop (where Pete put new strings on and re-setup my Pro 6 - thanks, bro!). Got to play Pete's personal fretless with Audere preamp (very cool - dual midrange controls), and a brand new fiver with ebony board. The next 3-4 months are going to be a LONG wait!

Hey Tony, I'll know more in a about a week. If this gig pans out, I'll probably have to end up getting a second 5 string something. I'd really like to find a 5 string stage series to tide me over until my Lion's Pride is done. But, first, I better wait and see if this gig pans out.

Yea, the spalt is going to be fretless PJ mahogany with ebony board
the maple burl is ash with birdseye maple board dyed LP blue.
Edit - I can't remember where i got this rendition of the Lions Pride from.

Just got back from a gig with mine... DID I SAY I LOVED MY SKJOLD????? DAY-UMMMM!!!!!
Well all the constant praise of Skjold instruments and the pending arrival of the Skjold Lion's Pride have forced me to add a fretted Skjold LP 5 to my GAS list.
Plus, while I'll have to admit that the look of the conventional Skjold is beginning to grow on me, the LP bass IMO is an excellent step towards a bass design that's more aesthetically pleasing to the eye's.
