Good lord I love that anatomical 'fish. Freakin' awesome.
Glad you're liking yours, Tom. Now you've got me GAS-ing for a tube head and NV610 to run my Reverends into (though they do sound great just through the Brunetti).
Some day I should take the PG off my PJ/JJ convertable 'fish and snap a picture of the insides. I'm loving the way it's playing and sounding right now, though.
I also took the rounds off my 5L last night and put the TI flats back on. Don't get me wrong, it sounds great with rounds, but this bass was BORN to wear TI flats.
HELLO, Tone!
Eight basses really seems like wayyy too many for someone with no gigs right now, so once again, I had been considering turning loose one of my fish. Since the BH5 is such a great rare beast, and I'm keeping the PJ, I had been thinking
once again
of selling the 5L. After putting the flats back on, I'm keeping it. No other bass has the tone of the 5L with flats. Wow. TONE. I should just give up and accept the fact that I'm a 'fish addict. Maybe I can part with a Sadowsky instead.
