Yeah and sadly its really the only bass that I have sold that I wish I still had.
FWIW, here's a pic I took last night of the shipping damage to the Dawgfish.
It's pretty deep, but it doesn't affect playability since it's so high up the fretboard (18th fret). Still, the lesson I wish to learn (and pass on to my fellow fishermen) is the importance of putting something like newspaper between the strings and the fretboard when shipping, especially when the bass is not in a hard case.
The Dawgfish has a scar, but is ready for action -- any time, anywhere.
Looks like I'm going to have to pull the pots though. They just won't come clean no matter what I use.

Hey Bart - Chick's dig scars! (So say's the Mountain Bike crowd anyway...)
Me - if it's a bolt on and I'm not shipping in a case. I generally pull the neck, wrap it, box it, box the body and then pack and box the two boxes ... gigbag's make nice padding ....

That 5-string has been giving me serious G.A.S., and I don't even like 5-strings. It's just so good-lookin'. I already made sure I'm going to be in a meeting at work when the auction ends, just so I don't do anything stupid.

I'm expecting a Dragonfly PJ to be arriving today! I wonder if it's the same one...
I emailed the guy I sold it too about 6 months ago to see if he would sell it back, but never heard from him. I still have a pic with the serial number somewhere, so when you get it let me know the number.

I have seen a couple others come up that weren't mine. Even if I can't find the pic with the serial number, I am pretty sure there is a unique battle scar I put into it that should be identifiable.
