I am going to be moving this one soon... I have posted it at the Reverend Forum, now here, and will go to eBay after the weekend.

This is number 03528 and is one of three Rumblefish in Flamed Maple. The archives list it as "Maple" necked, but its definitely Rose Wood, and it will be included in the next Archive update.

It has a nice "Reverend USA" era neck, and has a little bit of fret wear and some tarnish on the armrest, but otherwise is very nice.

She is strung with Labella Deep Talking Flats, and she certainly talks deep!

my latest, a 1985 G&L L2000 (with single coil switching!) came with chromes.
normally, i'd never, ever leave flats on a G&L cause "they take too much wicked out," but they sound pretty dang good for some reason.

Hello Gang! I just picked up Rick's BH5 from the classifieds and I should have in in a week or two. I would'nt count me in the club just yet, but I am really excited to get to know this bass!

FYI, I'm also someone who has never played or heard a reverend in person before... let alone a BH5, so I can't wait to get this in my hands. Interestingly enough, I have been looking for a nice wood finish 5L for quite a while and when this popped up, I had to grab it! It's EXACTLY what I was looking for (mohogany/rosewood) but in a Brad Houser. :bassist: Truth be told... I haven't even owned a 5er in years! I've been playing 6's exclusively for the last 8yrs :rollno:, and I'm ready to 'slim down' to a 5'er for my main bass. I think this BH5 should make for a nice transition don't ya think? :smug:

Anybody know if a Reverend case can be purchased for this bass? I'd love to pack it around in a nice stock teardrop if possible. Thanks!

Hmmm... I just spent some time on the 'reverend fanatic' website... looks to be the case indeed.

I think I'll just end up with a protec bag or somethin... saw someone's fish in one of them and it looked like a pretty good fit.

the protec contego is a nice case, and can be had from the perfect bass for about $100.
i have two, one for my rev pj, and one for my alleva...

the other teardrop case was from "canadian case," from finecases

IIRC, this would hold the 34" scale 4 bangers, but not the 35" scales...

Reverends typically play out, really, really well. I haven't had one I couldn't get a great setup on.

The BH5 is a big, and very organic sounding bass. Not lots of top end, but it fills a mix supremely well.
