Hey 5L owners, I need your help!! Can you tell me what the pup selector switch fuctions should be?? I think I put my pups in backwards 
Are the pups the same or is there a difference between the neck and bridge?? I ASSumed that the pup with the longer leads from the switch went to the neck position but maybe not?? Right now it seems like the switch is wired: up bridge, middle neck, down both Maybe the switch is wired wrong but I thought it was all virgin from the factory before I fixed the body damage. The onlything I could have mixed up is the pickup locations. If I finished the project in a few days instead of 6 months, I would have remembered how it came apart 
Other than that, I LOVE this bass. It's sooooo good to have a working Rev again. Or........almost working Rev again

What I got from Reverend.
1 3-position voicing switch: UP=both pickups in parallel, MID=neck pickup alone, DOWN=both pickups in series.
Though a few guys have the middle position as the bridge pup solo.

That makes sense. That's why I couldn't really tell by tapping on them which one was on/off. So being so close together they are acting almost like a single MM pup. I have to check in again with the switch in the middle position and see if the bridge pickup is in the right location or pull the pickguard off again
I think it would be cool to put a 5 way switch in and take advantage of all the possible combinations?? Thanks for your help matrok!

OK, it's right!! I didn't feel like taking it apart again. I finally got it dialed in as far as the setup, intonation, etc. I'm really loving the light guage Low Riders. The slightly smaller .120 B string has plenty punch but seems to me, much easier to play and more articulate than a .125 or .130. What a difference a few thousandths can make. Did I mention that I love this bass??

It seems like replacing a switch and some wiring to gain more tone options would make sense.

Yeah...the coffin cases for the shirts are just passe.
I too tossed mine, even tho it looked like it would hold a 5L.
