Well when i play the G string weith my fingers near the bass, it goes that, like if i'm kinda popping it.
Go for an "S" model or a Laredo. No binding, no square top edges, nice & comfy. My Tuxedo is an "S", and it's way nicer to play than standard 4001/4003's.

I have a 2006 4003MG that I loveSorrfy I don't ahve any pics of it right now.
I used to have a '79 4001MG, but I stupidly sold itActually I did worse thatn sell it. I put it on consignment at the local shop where it sat for a few months. Durring that time I played around with it when ever I went into the store and started to fall for it all over again. the day I went in to take it back, it was gone. Sold the day before....

Shouldn't there be routing for the mute and bridge visible??? Matt, did that bass come with that bridge on it?
