With the stacked knobs on the 1015, what kind of case do you use? Will the case put too much pressure on the knobs?

Besides the SKB case for my Jazz, the only other case I have is a Gator flight case..I wonder if that will work?! Kinda sketchy to try..geeeez!!! The flight case is ok, but for regular gigs it's too big to lug around..flying to gigs is getting pretty slim these days..
you can try, just be very careful, it doesn't take much to bend the posts on those double stacks. If you can swing it, pick up an MB100C, nothing better then a case designed for the bass you're putting in it.
Yessir! Already checked the cases out! That is the ONLY thing that I dont like about the bass..I'm worried about bending the posts..is it an easy fix?

depending on the bend, it can sometime be fixed, I have to replace both the pots on my 3005 due to bends. The previous owner wasn't the best with caring for his stuff. Although he reversed the setup and had them where the volume and blend pots were.
The nice thin is that the bass is contoured so you don't have them sticking straight up. I've never had an issue with any of MY basses when it comes to those knobs. you should be ok, provided the case has clearance for them.

I went to a pawn shop because my kids wanted to get a used x-box and found a lefty 300DX for $100. I had one before, and loved it with tapewounds, so I tried this one out and put a deposit on it. It looks the same as my old one (a little cleaner, actually), so I'll just use my old pic:
Ok so I'm in California this week and I went to guitar center today. Finally got to try an SR Premium.
I think it's a top notch instrument, but I also think the SR500 is just as good in every way. They were both equal in comfort, playability, and fit/finish, in my personal opinion.
At first I thought the 505 I was playing had only a 3 piece neck, then upon closer inspection I saw that it is a 5 piece, but the two woods look an awful lot alike.
I'm sold on the 505 for sure, as soon as I get the money I'm getting one.

Hello All! Here's mine. 1999 SR690. I'm looking to replace the electronics in it. Any suggestions? About two weeks ago it starting sounding weak. Changed the battery, no help. The EQ (vari-mid)works but it just doesn't sound "normal" no matter what amp I use. When the EQ is set flat it sounds very thin. I still love the bass and use it all the time.
I've just installed EMGs and an EMG BTS preamp into my SR, love the sound of it. I'd definitely recommend it.
