Don't have a lot of experience with octave up fuzzes. The octave side is very analog and cleanish. Not so much a standard octave fuzz. The fuzz side is nice and full and controllable, until you click the switch. Then it gets crazy. Sounds a lot like a wave folder on a synth to me.

Based on my personal experience with the Bass Box, and my online exposure to the Nebula, they will cover enough different ground to keep both.

I’ll be curious to hear your comparative thoughts.

I would also say they are quite different animals. The nebula is not gated at all. And the Bass Box doesn't do any upper octaves. Ill get you keep both!

Well, it turns out I will be making my own comparison soon. I have finally succumbed and dipped my toe in the Spaceman pool.
Spaceman has been one of those companies, like Moog, that I have avoided owning, because I know I would love them, and simply wanted to avoid the temptation of spending money I don’t have.
The Nebula made continued avoidance impossible.
