Reminds me of my rocker days.

I feel a bit of neck dive, if I'm not using a sufficiently wide or grippy strap. What neck dive?
~What if a dealer like GC or Andertons took the squier mini-bass, and made FSRs in the style of Fender signature models -- but in the mini shape?
ie. the purple sparkle adam clayton, or a steve harris mini, etc.
I think that's an awesome idea for kids and collectors.
People would post photos, here's my MIJ Geddy Lee next to the mini-Lee.
~yeah playable but just squier mini bass form factor. And mini prices compared to full size signature models.
I got this inspiration from all those mini-bikes you see in the summer. Some look like Harleys.

Yeah, priced moderately, as part of the Squier lineup, and it could include smaller versions of the Jazz body or the Tele [50s P] body, for any signature models which were based upon those.
Maybe a Mini Sting bass ?
I'd pay attention.

Mini Pino
Mini Sting
Mini Geddy
Mini Jaco
Mini Flea (oxy moron)
Mini Duff
Mini JMJ (redundant?)
Mini Adam Clayton
I'm down for ALL of those.
I hate taking the film on because I have to take the knobs off and loosen all the nuts but I guess I hate having the film more.Yes, I do. My Gear4music rainbow fretboard mini P also still has the film on.
Fender Special Run - limited editions that usually feature custom colors or specs. Like the shell pink Bronco.Ummm... what's a FSR?
I would love a maple/blocked fretboard option!
Squier Mini P is done (for now?...).
Mods: DiMarzio Model P pickups, Hipshot Kickass bridge, GHS Precision Flats, Dunlop Straploks, Levy's strap, black knobs, custom leopard pickguard (made it with adhesive paper).
Thing absolutely growls. The dichotomy between its weight and beefy sound is incredible.
Took a while to get intonation right (stoked to have that bridge accordingly) and a better gearing on the tuning machines would be nice (bonus.. get black Hipshots someday) but I think this project is good for now.

~....FSR : A store can work with Fender and get a special model made with a special color or feature(s) that only their store sells (aka musicians friend or sweetwater). - So imagine Adorama coming out with a lake placid blue squier mini pbass. - Stores do that so they cant price match. And to drive sales to their store.
Problem is, is that Fender requires them to buy 400 - 500 units. So there's risk and high cost involved.
~We can muster up 400 purchases right here.![]()
