Now, I know it still may seems ridiculous for any person — paid or unpaid — to say a product changed his/her life. But honestly? Some things can change your life, sometimes in big ways, other times it's just in tiny ways. But I have to say Rod instruments changed the music that I make, those instruments changed my life!

I'm looking for a better gig bag for my streamline
I need something more durable as the stock bag is flimsy, disappointing and has already worn a hole in the bottom

It was a great run. Really glad I got my second Stealth last year. I had no idea what was really going on in Colchester but knew that Rob was even older than I am, and was bound to retire at some point. I'll just repeat here what I said at the very beginning of this thread, 8 years ago: Long live Rob, and long live Status!
I am glad Rob made it and hope he lives long and prospers. But having no more Status Graphite is truly a bummer. I have owned several Statii and they are very high quality basses, and I have enjoyed Rob and Dawn's personal attention over the years.
I'm glad Rob is OK, but I'm surprised he's letting all that goodwill and branding simply vanish. I would hope someone could buy the existing stock and moulds and continue on, but maybe they're rear retirement age too. Seems a pity the brand is going to vanish into the ether and there can't be a continuation or a Gibson / Heritage thing happen.

I really wanted a blue 5 with LEDs to match my black one and even got a quote from Rob, but never pulled the trigger. I'd settle for a 4 
Yeah sorry to see this, Rob and Dawn are just amazing people and great to deal with… and he's made such amazing instruments. I hope he's recovering to a state that feels normal again.
I told Rob when I received my Streamline that it was was like driving a custom made carbon fiber supercar for the first time when I first received it, really nothing like it.

I do the same, just a little bass when needed, otherwise flat. It's mid forward already so haven't needed the mid control.
In a perfect world, I wouldn't mind finding someone with a headless S2 or Stealth that wanted to swap for a streamline.Let me know,

I have a blue 5 with blue LEDs. It's not a main for me but I do love it. At this point I would only look at trades for other status basses. Maybe 5 string headless stealth.

All the S2 Classics are now sold with the exception of the lefty 5. As a southpaw, I am severely tempted. Even though I much prefer headless and fretless. gaugh.
