Just saw Northless @ the Empty bottle tonight. They killed it. such a good band. Stoked to play with them on May 21st @ Albion house.
Also, Earth - Angles of Darkness, Demons of Light 1....so far, so good. I'd recommend getting it.

I was checking out your the facebooks page and saw your guitarist playing what looked like an 8-string... do my eyes deceive me? any thoughts on it? I imagine it being cool for drones and unisons, though i can also imagine it getting in the way of a your bass magic. Do you know how he tunes that beast?

We don't step on each other's frequencies, so you can hear both instruments separately and perfectly. Chording on the bass helps A LOT too!
Indeed, great drummer. Not really what I would call doom or stoner doom. Guitar is far too clean and twangy! Reminds me of a few bands on SST back in the 80s like Meat Puppets, Minutemen etc.
