). Hey, if it doesn't work out, don't forget the long eval period. Just keep it in perfect condition with all the packing and whatnot... no risk if you don't like it.wait, what?

we'll see what the situation is tomorrow (payday).
I may be joining the party sometime soon.
Man, this thread has given me major gas, for a LMII!
Before I commit myself completely to this little beauty of an amp, I'd like to make some things clear:
-This amp is warm, yet pretty transparent. I can dial in pretty much any sound I want to.
-This amp will bring out the characters of my bass, and not mask them with any character of the amp itself.
-This amp is useful for any style of music, from hard rock to funk.
-This amp is completely kickass
Are all of these statements accurate?
Inform me if I missed anything.
The closest one to me is 3 hours away. I just had them ship it.![]()
I have five within an hour of me.

For me, yes. For you, maybe. Maybe not.
Why do you say that?

Go for it. IMHO, the LMII is one of those heads that sounds good with most cabs... pretty cab friendly.I do see that. I certainly wouldn't be considering this amp if there was not a good return policy. I imagine that it will be very different than my Ashdown, so by that i'm a little uncertain. But, all I can really do is try it out.
And speaking of it sounding good with certain cabinets, what would you reccomend? I'm looking at Aguilar GS112s or similar cabs right now.

I think I've got to try one of these. Currently using a Peavey Firebass which I'm happy with soundwise, but the thing is 55 pounds. If I can get as good a sound from the LMKII I'm on it.
