No, i believe its adjustable as in Parallel or series only on the LMII.
If you look at the diagram in the manual you can see its before the EQ section.
Shame really.

I joined the club!!!! Got my LMII hooked up to my Schroeder 1212L, great little rig that sounds HUGE!!!!!! I am going to use it on a gig this weekend and a recording session next week, I'm curious to hear the DI!!!! The only negative...no mute button!!!

Edit: I was waiting for the EA Micro300 and decided to get this instead, the LMII sounds better and louder that the iAmp 500 that I tried and it's much lighter, so I couldn't wait any longer for the Micro 300, too bad, it seems like EA has something really cool that is taking a really long time to perfect....

Hello to the MB Club!!!

Seeing as I can't test any MB gear around here, I'd like to know what kinda sounds you can get out of a LMII and a MB 4x10. Is it possible to get a real punchy tone that is kinda low and growly at the same time???

I like the looks and sound of MarkBass gear, but I've noticed most of the artists who endorse it (not like they really matter though!) play jazz, so I'm wondering if it would suit my aggressive pick playing alright.

yes, sorry it was sarcasm.
I think you need to read the MB threads for the real answer.
I can tell you that with my 1210 cab my LMII can sound very "rock" and i play with a pick 99% of the time.
No experience with a 410 though.

Kevin Brubaker plays Rock. He doesn't use a pick but he's an agressive player. He went with an SD800 and seems happier with it than his Eden Navigator/QSC3402 rig. He's running a couple of small cabs (Mesa 1-12, Bag End 1-15 w/ Eminence Delta Pro) and is getting pretty ridiculous volume and tone IMO.

I play with a pick 99% of the time too... Okay 100%. I have found my Ashdown doesn't suit speedy pick playing and it sounds horrid (plus its only 30 watts ) I think I should be happy with a MB 4x10 and LMII.

OK, I'm now in the MB fan club. Where do I sign? I've been using the Little Mark II for a few weeks now in church, clubs, wedding receptions, etc. It has proven itself to be a fantastic head replacing my SWR SM400S. I'm amazed at the power it pumps out! I'm still using my SWR cabinets and have the LMII master volume set at about 3 o'clock when the SM400S, which is also rated at 500 watts, would have been set on 9 o'clock. The tone, set totally flat, is great.

Don't you mean the reverse? LMII at 9 o'clock? (That's barely turned up from zero)

I never dial my LMII Master Vol above 11 o'clock. Usually it's right around 9-10 o'clock and I use more input gain for more volume if needed. My Input gain is usually set from 11 o'
clock to 1 o'clock. It's clean and loud at 1 o'clock!

Sorry! I had a brain fart. You are right. The LMII is set at 9 o'clock and the SWR would be set at 3 o'clock. The power of the Markbass is MUCH higher than the SWR of the same power rating.

So, I've been waiting for my F1 to come in for almost 4 months now! They said it would be 3 weeks...

Does anybody have one yet? Thoughts? If anyone has one on order, do you have any idea when it is supposed to come in? I've emailed Markbass directly, and they still haven't gotten back to me yet. When mine comes in, I get to A/B it with my LMII and then pick the winner...but I'm getting anxious.

Correct. DI is pre/post(default), efx is series/parallel(default).

These are the settings I had to use for the gig on Friday night with the Status 2000 and my new Markbass 2x10 combo.
As you can see the Status 2000 is incrediably bright and has a ton of pre-amp power (18 volts) so I am not sure if this a good match for the Markbass and its piezo horn (which doesn't have a volume control as does the Eden cabs)

Are you really playing with your MB with all of the mids pulled all the way down, the mid contour turned up? How can you hear yourself on stage?
