Yup. On my bass I specified the spacing, scale, fretboard radius, neck profile, etc. Very few builders are as flexible as Nino IME.

Seriously though I would love to hear your semi-hollow jazz.

It has no discernible (by me anyway) hollowbody qualities like say a Gretsch would....
It is; more or less; in the same tone family as my ash/maple Sadowsky MV5...
They're both ash/maple/Sadowsky single coils and preamp; but while they sound similar, they're not same.
But: no two same spec'd bases really are and I attribute the diff's more to that than the hollowbody of the Valenti.

Had my first customer service experience with Nino and it was fantastic.
You just can't get this type of service when dealing with a big company.
The build quality of the bass is excellent. Small builders are the way to go.
They really care about the product they put out.

A NYC guy that answers stupid questions for weeks without losing his patience? That's a rare breed.

Jammin' on some tunes and taking my Valenti VTP5 & my Markbass rig (CMD 151P/New York 151) for a drive tonight. Love this bass & amp combination! Involved with the country gig now and I think this setup will fit in nicely!
