Everyone can hear the difference between any two sets of strings, any two pickups or any two pieces of wood. Even in a poorly recorded compressed Youtube video.
You can make a NBD post without someone raining on your parade.

People really don’t care about the weight of the bass you just listed in the classifieds, or about the width of the neck at the nut.
That TalkBass isn’t followed by manufacturers of bass instrumentation so that they could better supply us bassists with what it is that we really want and deserve.
So far the band management page about hiring/firing/managing people at all is pretty funny most of the time.

Everyone asking for advice in the Band Management forum keeps their posts short and to the point.
We all agreed there's nothing new to say about tonewood so the topic never comes up.
