I think that's Jason Knight's bass!

Looks like his post on FB isn't public, but he said:
"I've just returned from my first fly-gig (London-Miami). Packed in their Epiphone cases, my Epiphone VPs both survived the experience perfectly, though I got a dint in one case and lost one case foot. Played 4 different stages on a cruise ship, and both Eddie Spaghetti (Supersuckers) and Alan Doughty (Waco Brothers) also loved borrowing my bird."

If it's Jason's (and it sure looks like it is), that was the Outlaw Country Cruise!

You are correct sir! I had forgotten that he had posted about the cruise.

I just read that one should give some spring sun to the T-Bird pickup equipped basses. It really helps with the neck dive, clears the mud and snaps the snapped headstock back into it's place.
Of course I snake oiled the fretboard that it won't get too tanned...View attachment 4619400
I like everything about that Bass

I like everything about that bass except the price.
If I was so inclined to own a pink mist Spector shaped Bird I’d probably buy one of these…
Spector Rebop 4DX Zebra Top | G-CLUB Produced by Kurosawa Music | Reverb
and drop a couple of thunderbuckers in it with thousands of bucks left to paint it any color I like.

Most important, change those ugly witch hat knobs!

That would get you the same sound plus some. And it would leave plenty of money for another Bird.

Couldn't agree more!
