That is a very nice camera. There are still some of us around who appreciate the nuance and feel of film.Good eye!!!!
My old F2Sb
Cool, a giant kitty litter box.Yes, on the grassland 50 acres, but my landscaping is Southwestern using California Gold Fines (think coarse sand). So you end up with poop sitting on top of a hard surface. No way to scoop it up as it is more like jello![]()

Interesting our differences. I've always [strongly disliked] the Tele head shape. Bass or 'treble'.Somebody got a pretty cool bass, unfortunately not me…

Not my favorite headstock, but always interesting to see Gibby style pups and colors on a Fender style bass.Interesting our differences. I've always [strongly disliked] the Tele head shape. Bass or 'treble'.
I was brutal with basses when I was a kid, I've gotten much better. My first bass was a 1970 P bought brand new, sold it two years later and then saw it for sale a few weeks later as a Pre CBS (it was so beat) Surprising that Pre CBS Fenders were even sought after in 1972.
Prolly just me. The Tele HS looks fragiler* than a TBird HS.Not my favorite headstock, but always interesting to see Gibby style pups and colors on a Fender style bass.

Yes, it’s definitely the fragilest* of the two.Prolly just me. The Tele HS looks fragiler* than a TBird HS.

* if enough people reinforce the wrong use of a word it eventually becomes the new norm.

I was a talentless hack before, so no big change. I don't expect to ever be back to where I was physically, as the surgery created a series of limitations. But things are better than before the surgery. I lament that had I been paying better attention, I would have recognized the problem earlier. However, because of the nature of the problem, there was probably no way to avoid the eventual consequences.
As it stands, I can play and that matters. Playing is now a good portion of my therapy - creating the motor pathways to have as much control as is possible and generating/regaining strength. I am still on the recovery pathway - full recovery takes a year or more.
The frustration is minor. I can't do what I did before. But I couldn't immediately prior to the surgery as well. I don't feel sorry for myself, nor am I seeking any sympathy. Just a report from recovery road.
And thinking it may be getting to be time to take care of the surgery on my left elbow that has been coming for a couple of years... It was easy on the right elbow, so this one should be too. Less than a week off from playing for that one.
That is cool. They’ll make one for you if you want. They have a good reputation for making quality made to order basses at reasonable prices. I’ve considered trying to order one over the years.Somebody got a pretty cool bass, unfortunately not me…

In August 2018 I had a Bilateral Lung Transplant. The 9 hour surgery had my arms bent into a bad position that often results in ulnar nerve damage. I couldn't even spread the fingers on my right hand, and my pinkie on that hand felt like it was bring cut open if you touched it with a string. I couldn't write, and could barely hold a fork. Here's a picture of me two weeks later in the hospital playing my uke bass. It took me at least a year to get close to the speed and accuracy that I used to be able to play sixteenth notes with alternating fingers. I started dabbling with pick playing but I'm still a hack at that. Don't lose hope. I'm back to full strength playing-wise.
Unfortunately, I'm writing this from my hospital bed. I spent 19 day in the hospital with pneumonia and a possible fungalinfection, only to be discharged then bounce back in 10 days later with low blood pressure induced fainting and a different infection in my lungs.

They do have some neat stuff and also have a nice looking Tbird, but to be honest I can build one myself for about half the cost of their new ones. This one is pretty cool…That is cool.
