I have several basses out here and kind of rotate them, when I get sick of one I pick up another etc. I've also still been experimenting with tone settings, techniques etc. This morning I picked up the NR, turned the tone up to ten, set the Ampeg to a lot of bottom and treble, cut some midrange and started playing it with a fairly heavy pick with Rotos on it, man this thing sounds good! It has that piano sound.
I am doing a gig maybe twice a month, blues, the guitarist is good and the crowd while small is very appreciative of the two gringos and one Peruvian playing blues, drums, bass and guitar. He actually liked the T-Bird.
