Well.....I have many years of practice![]()
It's not really all that difficult though, and they make your legs look fab!
I love watching those things start up, prop planes, I took an old DC something or other once years ago from Boston to Cape Cod, it was the coolest thing for me just to sit in that plane while they started up the two props. I love the sound, that's real bass.
This starts at about 4:20
This one also starts about at the four minute mark.
I found the nut on my IV didn't have enough threads to catch properly and it would come loose all the time. That made the input wobble. I changed nuts from another jack and that helped a lot, but the nut comes loose in a couple weeks and I have to tighten it again. It's a bit of a nuisance since you have to open the swimming pool to make sure you don't twist things up when tightening the nut. I bought a special 1/2" jack nut wrench that does a good job of holding the jack in place while cinching things up.

I's probably why I gravitate to playing bass - my dad was the captain of one of these in the South Pacific in WWII - (nicely done vid)
I think I need to adjust the bridge, will have to find out how to do it, but it's light and so confortable to play... I love it so far.
Loctite Blue is a better choice for this in case you ever need to change out the jack. Red might be a bit to aggressive.Put some loctite on there. You won't have to work about it loosening up again.

I flew on one of these in the late 60's.
Good ole Lockheed Electra 188.
Hartford to JFK in really bad weather.
Was fun though.

They were the first real concert I went to. Climax Blues Band opened for them. Very different, but both fantastic bands. Doug Gray (singer) is the only original member. Has great voice and what what I've seen is just a great down to earth guy. Very humble. Some of their music is a little too country, but most of it is pretty good. Kind of Country-Jazz-Rock with some blues. Great musicians in the day. Glad I was introduced in Climax Blues Band. Been enjoying them ever since. For you NorCal Marshall Tucker Band fans, they will be in San Ramon on 1/29/23. Nice medium sized auditorium.

For the record, that's not me. Mine would look worse.

Great video, I can't imagine flying, especially one of those, does he have any good stories?
Toy Caldwell (lead guitar) sang "Can't You See" and Doug "Heard It...""Can't You See" was a huge hit, "Heard it in a Love Song" was pretty big too.
That's an ironic name. I guess unless it's premature.Climax Blues Band
