Enjoy it! I am having performing withdrawal symptoms finally after almost three years of mostly not being on a stage anywhere. A small handful of private shows hardly does it.
Never French kiss a wet amp.Yep. This one isn't mine. I got mine for pretty cheap at least ten years ago before prices got stupid, but then it had apparently been in a flooded basement at some point. So I'm told. But it has worked fine for all these years with no issues. Including a show in heavy dew that was like playing underwater. I got a mouth zap, but oh well.

^^^This. These are great cases. I use one to transport all the reverses, including the '64.
Learned something new today.Never French kiss a wet amp.
Why? Does this initiate the body cavity search protocols? On the other hand, the extra large Russian women customs officials are really scary. Just don't make eye contact.
Welcome aboard! No doubt about it, the people here are outstanding. I'd more than gladly welcome any of the crazies here to the house to stay a few days. Well, maybe not Willy. He would need adult supervision. I like my frets. Can I just say what a delight you guys and gals are?
Coming from years on TGP and Gearspace, Talkbass seems like a breath of fresh COVID-free air. You guys give me hope for humanity—maybe bassists should’ve been running the world all along.
I’m sure I’ll post again before the New Year but just incase, my best wishes, gratitude and ‘Happy Birthdays’ to all of you!
An SVT will do in a pinch?SVT, or a Mesa 400+.![]()

Does anyone here own an Ibanez Destroyer bass? There were several models apparently but if I could choose I'd get the DT670 with two humbuckers (I wonder why). Not necessarily in black 'though.

The pickups are the same they used on a Roadstar II RB950 bass which has been on my endless G.A.S. list for a while. The Destroyer would be nice especially as I don't play metal.
It might if you don’t respond quickly to the demand for papers. Why? Does this initiate the body cavity search protocols?
I find my Epi Explorer is a bit of a reach to first position. I think moving the rear strap button to the back would solve the issue. It’s longer than the VP!I don't own one of those but I would in a heartbeat!! My Hamer Blitz is an Explorer body and it is a GREAT bass! They are larger than a Tbird, but not by a lot. I find them comfortable to play but some people think they are too big.
Do you find it distracting hearing the cans/bottles hitting the basket behind you?

I always say "Sir was my grandfather."When they call me "sir," I slug 'em. Nobody calls me sir and lives.
I tell people "I was an enlisted swine, not an officer. Don't call me sir".I always say "Sir was my grandfather."
You can't be. I've been trying to stick it to The Man for 43 years...I'd be insulted. "Boss" is beneath me. I'm The Man.
This track has a great overdriven bass sound. Players aren't too shabby either. Those damn Swedes again:
I'm getting the MojoMojo pedal today. There will be clips I promise.
One thing I don't like about drive pedals that have a blend is that the clean sound is sometimes too separate sounding. I mean when I have the overdrive on my playing touch is different (mostly more aggressive) and that doesn't necessarily work with the clean sound audible. Depends on a pedal of course.
But if Mike gets called Man, Dude, or Bro at the border crossing, he might turn right back around satisfied, and never even make it to L&M.
