Courage is not the absence of fear. It is acting despite fear.
Do you have a postal scale? If the bridge has noticeably more DCR, should have enough more wire to make a visible difference on a scale.I'm not that good at soldering so I'd rather put them in right places the first time. Unless someone tells that they both have the same ohms.
They do speak with several 8th Air Force survivors and I recall they all say that they were quite afraid.
Are there any distinctive things to look on the TB+ pickups to see which one is for bridge position? Or should I just measure them? Don't have a meter at home so...

EXCELLENT! The formula for this group is N+1. You did the right thing. Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the Gibson to the Epiphone. Nut width is the same. But neck thickness? Tone? We'll see.I think I’m infected with Thunderbird GAS. I ordered a now rare to find Classic Pro for 375€ new. And closed a deal in a Gibson 2008 Thunderbird for 1250€ with case. Am I going crazy??View attachment 5007027View attachment 5007028View attachment 5007029View attachment 5007030View attachment 5007031

I've been to Tinian. That was a pretty incredible experience. These three posts speak volumes about humanity.
At least from my perspective in my lifetime.
I'll move along now.

Newer ones are narrow like that. I am not sure when the change happened. It was after they moved production from Korea to China. So i measured the nut on my bolt-on Epi thunderbird and it’s a 1.5”. It’s from 2012 and made in Indonesia. It’s the one with a rare dark neck. I tought every bolt-on had a wider nut, and I can’t find another dark neck like mine. So do I have something special in my hands? Ehehehe what do you think?View attachment 5007009View attachment 5007010 View attachment 5007011
But my wallet is hurting a lot. Ehehhe.Sounds sensible
Mine was made in Indonesia. And has a rare dark neck. Do you now anything about this?Newer ones are narrow like that. I am not sure when the change happened. It was after they moved production from Korea to China.
Do they have anything marked on them? If not, a cheap multimeter is better than no multimeter. And they are handy for many other tasks.I'm not that good at soldering so I'd rather put them in right places the first time. Unless someone tells that they both have the same ohms.
Does this look like a Classic Pro?
The date seems right and it appears to have Gibson pickups. Also neck through.
