It’s the glitch. And I said probably a hundred pages or so ago I was going to call Ice “Stu.” I like his CCR posts.
Oh darn, I though everyone was trying to be funny...

That concerned me with the VP too, but was told it’s normal. What bothers me is that the E side of the bridge is raised much higher than the G side
Sí, tortilla españolaque es? parece tortilla de patatas Española…

What are @Chucky Stiletti and I supposed to do with all our free time? Not traveling with any basses. You and Dave just need to stop. An occasional food pic is great. But you guys are deliberately taunting us!
That reminds me-time for this again:What are @Chucky Stiletti and I supposed to do with all our free time? Not traveling with any basses.![]()
that was the influence….the British were/are part of the fabric here…… built all the railroads …..highly respected round these parts…The outside looks similar to a Cornish Pasty.
On a related note, do you know if the new Gibson NR uses the exact same pickups as the Epiphone VP? Or did Gibson create something new for the NR?
Replaced the nut with a pre-slotted TUSQ XL, it fits very well after a little sanding, although I'm unsure about the height as it turned out to be slightly sloped (not as much as the stock nut but enough that wonder if it'll work). It was a good lesson in nut removal and maintenance regardless although I suspect I'll have to give it to a guitar tech and just get a new nut cut from a blank in the end.
For the saddles, I'm not sure mine are particularly tight or what, but I'm having real trouble getting them out to the point that it's starting to warp the screw heads a little. Did you use anything to help ease them out or did they just come off easily?

That’s an individual setup issue. Maybe he likes to dig into the strings. That forces the low end string higher. What bothers me is that the E side of the bridge is raised much higher than the G side
That’s what I’m hearing with mine as well, just wasn’t sure if it was because of the different strings and pickup placement that I have on the Gibby NR vs the Eppi VP.They're not the same pickups at all, I much prefer the Gibson, through my rig they're fuller sounding with much better lo mids and bass, a bit less top zing. Over all I like them, not as much as my '64s, the Lull or Greco though.
The Epiphone 760 Probuckers are stamped as such on the back. The Gibson units are unmarked and most likely built by Seymour Duncan. They are clearly made in different locations just by looking at the tooling and manufacturing techniques. I prefer the Epiphone 760s they are hotter and grittier, the Gibsons are more docile. I put 760s in my 2021 Inverness Green Nonreverse and I've left my Sparkling Burgundy one stock.I was wondering about that too. Would they need to do that if he was using drop tuning with floppy strings maybe? I would hope the saddles were cut correctly and the neck had no issues.

think you’d like it here….After all my blender and low pass filter experiments I found a pedal that would do it all:
https://www.broughtonaudio.com/product-page/filter-fx-loop
Very handy. The HPF in the effect loop (affects the signal before the effect) could come handy with the 12-string bass.
Of course it's out of stock. Oh well.
Maybe somebody will trade his/hers to a one hot overdrive pedal that is "the s*!t" at the moment...![]()
You should consider Damnation Audio's Dirtfixer, which I think is replacing their Loop Blender (Bloop). After all my blender and low pass filter experiments I found a pedal that would do it all:

The Bloop is still available, too.
