I’d like a 442 personally
That would work.

Cool background vid on Rob Turner of EMG fame. Guitar oriented but really interesting as we all use pu's. I have EMG pu's in two of my basses; 9v low impedance EMGX J pu's in my Supersonic, and a Geezer Butler passive P in my Glam PJ. Great sounding pu's.

Cool, looks like lots of different wood options I wasn’t aware of, just assumed it had to be ebony.
I’ve only owned one fretless and I sold it a few years ago because I wasn’t bonding with the Pedulla ergonomics. Beautiful looking and sounding bass, but just couldn’t sit and play it comfortably. So off she went…

My '64 Embassy has a similar body shape and is not the best for sitting. I'm not even crazy about the big round shape when standing, but it's not as noticeable.

I started getting a bald spot at 19, so I never had a mullet either. Saved by mother nature.

I still have most of my hair but it's fine so a mullet wouldn't have worked for me anyway. Being in art-school in the 70's & 80's, mullets were for design students - not painters/sculptors/ceramicists! :D

For some reason, I always preferred the hippie/jam band version with Courtney Johnson and Curtis Burch. The live album, “Too Late to Turn Back Now” was on our turntable a lot in in the 80s. And I’ve listened to it again a few times in the last couple of months.

Me in 1986 or 87.
What is that bass? It has an Epi looking headstock and banjo tuners. Or is it a banjo?

Throughout high school and my first couple of years of college I was always between shoulder and mid back length, parted in the middle of course. My hair goes all the way to the floor now, but only because most of it is falling out. :D
Also, always had a mustache since my junior year and a beard since high school graduation.
Mine didn’t get to mid-back until sophomore year of college. Then I cut it to please a girl. Found out the girls in the OC preferred in shorter. That’s the only reason I cut it.
