Many are in the 8-9 pound range. Is it just me, or is every Thunderbird carved out of the heart of a neutron star! I hadn’t gigged in a while and forgot how impossibly heavy my Thunderbird in a case is!
Yeah, but the cases are in 1/2 to 3/4 ton range. Many are in the 8-9 pound range.

Put it in a Ziploc-with the screws-and put that in the gig bag accessory compartment.
pic pls!..Big day today. Major modification for my TBird.
I was watching some videos of the Miami Beach hotel lounge group I was in 80-82. I noticed something about the 67NR(besides the stock PG). It DIDN'T HAVE THE HAND REST ON IT!!
So I took it off just now.Put it in a Ziploc-with the screws-and put that in the gig bag accessory compartment.
Now I'm tired.![]()

EB basses are my weakness. Found a black one as a demo for discount….Your link is the same bass I posted about. You should buy it!
Same, for the most part. The small convertibles, for instance, are still at least a bit different, so a Miata vs a BMW Z4 vs whatever are discernable. From the 50s(yeah, I'm old)up until the 90s, I could tell you the make and model-and the year within a 3 year window-of most cars, even familial 'twins', i.e. Ford and Mercury from 50 yards +/-. At least American cars. But the laws of aerodynamics and the efforts to achieve better gas mileage dictate that, from the side at least, ya can't tell a Toyota from a Buick from a Nissan from a...etc, etc.
I could tell a 49, 50, or 51 Ford by its grille-or taillights-from ~100 feet. Same with 52-54. Now I can't tell you what the car in front of me is w/o seeing the badge.

I would disconnect the bridge pickup and measure it independently. If it's reading 952 ohms, it may have a shorted winding in it.
You probably need a drink....Big day today. Major modification for my TBird.
