beats laboring AND you get free travel….
And you're flying a relatively small high-end jet! (not a big honkin' air-bus)

Yep - my dad would have loved to keep flying after coming home from WWII but he wanted to raise a family more. Hard to do if you're a full-time airline pilot.
And there’s the rub. You know my “pinko Commie” politics Miles. While the should be a gap, bus opertivedgrossly under paid.
not even the high voltage probe?…..![]()
Don't get too excited! Keep your hands (and other things) off its fun bits, if you know what's good for you!
once tried a Stingray with a graphite neck and owned a Sabre, both great plays…One bass I've never even played. They were thee bass of the late '70s/'80s. I imagine the two pu '83 Cutlass II with a carbon-fiber neck might be cool.

I wouldn’t mind having the right Sabre….once tried a Stingray with a graphite neck and owned a Sabre, both great plays…
There are a surprising number of air Marshals on flights. More than people realize. There is no where near the protection on buses and trains. Write your congressperson. Funding is the issue. Every bit helps.Agreed. Responsible for many lives and lots of property, both on and off the Big Steel Thing, and having to deal with lots of yahoo drivers. Just as pilots have things to deal with that bus drivers don't, bus drivers have things to deal with that pilots don't.
I think he’d be happy to hear that….Absolutely, a first rate guy. If we were closer, I can guarantee we would meet up for a few cold ones
poor guy, lost a potential sale….slapping Stingrays is very tempting…..literally perfect (by design) slap bass….I was going to try a stingray bass once, but the guy at geetard centre, pulled it off the wall, plugged it in and started popping and slapping the poopie out of it instead of handing it to me, so I just walked out the front door.
No, my trademarks are COOL, TWO COOL, PRO COOL, Factory Commander, and Factory Explorer. Boring, I know.Bit late for a trademark. Plus, trademarks are for adjectives applied specifically to stated uses, such as Kleenex tissues, Toys-R-Us toy stores, etc. Does our Dave own Dave's Insanity hot sauce brand?
I’m here, just 7 pages behind. I need to stop sleeping.Who owns the rights to quote Dave's not here? unquote?

Envelope follower pedal maybe? How can I make my Thunderbird sound more like a Stingray?

I was only interested in Olivia Neutron BombIs that the musical with John Travolta? I didn't care for it - no Thunderbird basses.

I used to be able to tell you for a song (of a favourite artist) which album, side, order…Yup. In school, it might take me a month to remember all my classmates' names, but I'd hear a new song I liked a couple of times and know the melody. Within a dozen hearings I could sing most, if not all of it, and a week later I'd know how any of the parts I cared about (and some I didn't) went.
We’ve settled on a nice place in the SoCal mountains on the edge of Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern, and Los Angeles counties. You need to come visit us Geoff and check it out. We’ll leave the light on. Or pick you up at LAX. Open invitation. Four seasons. Clean air. And about ninety minutes to anywhere. The ocean, L.A. concert venues, amazing restaurants, etc. Disneyland is a bit further. Southern California is a wonderful place.
Is that the Jackson from the song? She is. And she has, I think, decided that Jackson, WY, will likely be where she sets roots. She has friends who do that. Including some pilot guy…
