Thunderbird Club

can’t stand working on today’s combos….they are literally meant to be replaceable…..I tell my customers to take stuff apart before bringing to me as I don’t feel comfortable charging them my hourly rate to remove screws…..:rollno:

Fender doesn’t even try to repair Rumble 100s. They just replace them.

Mom and I on Friday, she's 92 and still really doing quite well.

That makes me so happy.

Why not just back off a little bass on the amp?
Thanks, Jeff. Excellent suggestion. I've tried that, but not recently, and it didn't seem to to take the boom out and thicken everything up. That said, I will try that again. You're comment got me to thinking about the Genzler 4 On The Floor. It has HP/LPFs. I might try taking some the lows out with that. I Didn't have that when I got the bass and was trying various things.

Took my Mother and the wife out for a nice ride along the Ohio River (towards Cincy) on two lane roads. Stopped here at a small park. Still tough on Sandra as it has just been two yrs since her mom unexpectedly passed.

In the weird situation where both of my wife’s parents have passed. In an act of grace, my mom made Mother’s Day dinner for my wife

My moms mom is 98

This weekend was my daughter’s first Mothers Day, and my wife’s first as a Grandmother (she is Nanna).
We went over on Saturday and went to the local Bowlo for lunch. A great day and to top it off my (Granddad) footy team broke a 2 week losing streak.
They went over to see the SIL’s mother (Nan) on the Sunday, the Grandmother (Baka) died only a couple of weeks ago. Dad, uncle Tim and Pa’s footy team also had a win.
Good weekend all round.
