Sorry bro's but the nerd in me had to resolve this cable pricing issuing - I love cars by the way -

1/4 inch TS Neutrik connectors at Sweetwater go anywhere from 1.60 to 9.99 (unless you get that fancy non-pop disconnect model which goes for around 20), and, surprise, surprise, it is the true gold plated models that are going for 9.99 (18 AWG max conductor size). So I surmise there must be another reason Hosa wants 60 dollars for their Edge series 15 foot cable (67 for the 20 footer) which all have the gold contact Neutrik connectors-

Not to be disrespectful but maybe they're on crack for wanting approx. 52 USD for the EDGE series 18 inch (20 AWG) patch cable?

I'm not an engineer or an accountant , but all things being the same (gold plated contract connectors and 20 AWG copper conductor - oxygen free, no less!), the one cable at 20 feet- over ten times longer - sells for $ 66.95, while the patch cable goes for 51.95? A second right angle connector shouldn't add that much!

For premium pricing, you accept that you will not get everyone to buy. You accept that a small fraction of potential purchasers are going to buy from you. But you put out a message that your product is different and superior to justify the premium pricing and the only calculus is how many suckers buyers do you need to turn a suitable profit?

Really random thing here, but I ordered an epiphone thunderbird 60s bass and was wondering if the harware was actually nickel or chrome? I always put schaller strap locks on my basses and i want to match. any help would be appreciated.

I believe it is nickel, but somebody who knows more will confirm or correct my mistake.

Edit - already confirmed several times over.

I cannot criticize much since my inner fenders are painted black. They probably should have been painted yellow to match the bodywork. At the time, I thought the inner fenders should be black on both sides, along with the radiator support and firewall.

It was a failure to be sufficiently shallow.

I had a '66 Volvo 122s wagon (Amazon) and had the engine rebuilt. While it was removed, I cleaned and detailed the engine compartment. When the clean rebuilt engine returned it was like looking at a new car!

Not mine but just like it - mine had thin white-walls... great car.

…no need to cry, it's an easy fix, just pull out the neck stump with water and vapour injections and fix an epi bolt on neck.……should work….if not decorative for your kitchen or anaywhere else….was probably the last thunderbird part Roman (Bach) sold on his website…or ask @Basvarken …

Making a new neck shouldn't be too hard.
