Well, I'll jump in and suggest SIT Power FLATS. Pretty close to EBCFs in tone, yet won't f...*, er, mess up yer fingers. I have them on my Epi Embassy-and they'll prolly stay there 'til they go dead(4-5 years). Or I get a wild hair and get another set of #2814 EBCFs.Experiment with the LB DTFs didn't work out. I found to approach the thickness I normally get I had to jack the mids to 3:30 and have the mid selector on 5 or 4 (Ampeg), normally it's on 3. I will likely try the Power Wounds or Power Steels next Wed to see what direction things go. The SIT Power Wounds may have been the best sounding so far. Possibly with those and mids jacked I can get where I want.
Agreed. I have EBCF on my CP and Power Flats on both my VPs. Maybe a bit more zing from EBCF but very similar for half the price.Well, I'll jump in and suggest SIT Power FLATS. A friend of mine made a Talent pedal like that, with a foot switch and LED. I'd make one for myself, but no room on my little board.I found the perfect pedal!

Nice original mods for a bird - poplar Burl wing veneers and a Warwick bridge/tail. Makes it uniquely yours, I like that.View attachment 5456703

Dunno if I'll keep it long-term, but wanted to share. This odd-looking duck is an. Passive VV controls, some nice burl veneer, but look closely and the finish job is far from flawless. Plays and sounds good, though, so warm I don't mind having roundwounds on it.Epi Tbird Pro that the previous owner modded
Actually got it in trade for a vaguely T-bird shaped 5-string noname.
Engine bay porn! Gotta love it when done right. Not a bad weld in the bunch.@Gaolee

Much appreciated! but I can only take credit for the fuel cell up there.Engine bay porn! Gotta love it when done right. Not a bad weld in the bunch.
Liked Blondie, also like this song and vid by Berlin from the early-80's.
I'm so glad that song is off our set list! Had to be a fricken machine to play it, not fun!
I have no idea why I'm wearing a long dress and Cons........
Paid off is huge.Fortunately, I don't have one. Cheap shot, I know.
That's a lot of us here.I don't either. And no gigs helped in arriving that that place either. I'd be staying at a shelter if getting paid for playing was a thing. In fact, given all the money I've spent to play, I'm the one paying for me to play. Forget I would play for free. Apparently I will pay a lot just to play.
now you gotta jump on a plane and go to Nice….how tragic…FedMess deuxième partie: After spending a week in customs because they couldn't find the 3 invoices in the airbill pouch or the e-copy, they finally released my client's package and sent it to Paris. Unfortunately, my client is in Southern France. What *ing morons.
