yeah, this place (Sandbar) might as well be in FLA…..not quite Goodland but you get my drift….That reminds me-we have a gig coming up at "The Dolphin Bar Shrimp House". The smell of shrimp comes real close to making me 'ralph'.

It was a very different time. I didn't/don't care about his image-or whatever. Just don't care for his music. I know I'm in the minority here, but it is what it is.you didn’t dare say you liked Bowie in my Davie FLA HS days….strange..

I'd go with Titebond III. Just clamp it up for 24 hours. Problem solved.A quart of SuperGlue and all will be well.
Or maybe a roll of duct tape.A quart of SuperGlue and all will be well.

Too much ...On the topic of reducing size of amps, I’ve had a horrifying thought about selling my Mesa Strategy and going Darkglass or something… that being said I’m hoping to sell my Marshall MB150 and JVM rig to fund the darkglass and retain the Mesa. But the Mesa is TOTAL OVERKILL for me… which is kinda my thing I guess.

It's a pretty large Maple that's in the back corner, I had an Arborist come out today, they can take half of it down and cut up. Happily, I won't lose the whole tree, but it saddens me because it's a beautiful tree.

Rock stars..............
I think the neighbors are going to get to hear me play one of my '76s later.....
Ouch. Beats my new set of truck tires by a factor of 4. However, only 1/4 the price I was quoted to fix a leak on a sliding glass door. Didn't write a check to that guy.4K to remove it, no choice, it will fall very soon and will hit the house a destroy two neighbors' fences in doing so.
Paid that bill today.

If you decide to sell the sparkling red, please let me know.I tried DR Black Beauties on the Gibson ‘15 and did not care for them. Put about ten hours on them. When I got @KaraQ ’s sparkling red Epi LE CS IV, that is what she had on it. They sound great on that Thunderbird. So I have the other set for when those die. They were fairly new when I got the bass a couple of years ago and have kept their tone. Admittedly though, I have too many basses and don’t pick up that one all that much.
You’re forgetting I still have my 371 in my bedroom
And I’m still looking for a Mesa 412
I’m actually selling my 1973 SVT and 810. I believe this is the best vintage SVT one could hope to find. Still has many original USA pre-amp tubes. A 12AX7 conversion was done so they can be used in place of hard to find 12DW7 tubes, but the small tubes in the bottom chassis are still vintage original. Now, the power tubes! These 6550’s look to be the original Magnavox branded Tung-Sol’s and recent testing show them still strong. I’m told these Tung-Sols from back then are some of the best 6550’s you could ever get. It’s still getting a strong 300 clean watts. A convenient mod to move the standby switch to the front where the now unnecessary polarity switch was, was also done.

Original transformers and so on.
I don’t actually think it will ever sell around here, so I plan on keeping it covered in my garage, and will power it up, get it warm and play through it a bit, at least once a month.
I’m only selling it because I know at this point I’ll never use it other than if I kept it at my studio, where it would get used up to twice a week, but at this point I know it’s in great condition and I can sell it knowing I’m selling a good, clean and perfectly functioning vintage amp. If I left it at the studio and it continues to be used, it will eventually need servicing again, and my tech no longer wants to work on SVT’s. He’s in his early’70’s and they are just too heavy.
I could transport it to Seattle. From there, it’s your problem. If I were planning a road trip that way...
