Thunderbird Club

I know, and it's a good thing too, there's about 500 of them in the room with you, and, as of today 16 basses. We'll move the basses out for the GTG.

This guy!

I knew that my alignment wouldn't be perfectly centered without widening my route in the body, but I was curious if that would affect the output levels of the strings. So I wired this guy straight to the jack and checked levels.

Now I'm not so sure if I'm gonna go through opening up the pickguard and stuffing both PU's in there. It sounded damn good as is. Definitely not a vintage voice, but much closer to what I was wanting out of it. Hmmmm.

And don't forget to ALWAYS remove the instrument cable from the Pro IV when done playing. If you don't, it will drain the battery.
Mine at batteries anyway. It didn't matter what I did. Batteries would only last a few hours of playing. My wireless lasts longer than the preamp did before I yanked it in frustration.

Enjoyed Douglas Adams' wry and imaginative humor. Also enjoyed the 80's BBC miniseries. Too bad that they either lacked the budget or inclination to continue beyond the first few chapters-

Yah, I thought the BBC version was really good. The 2005 big budget movie was ok.

I like it.

Can anybody give me the measurement from 12th fret to top of the pickup on the II's????

Just part of my daily Queen duties..........

Consider installing an on/off switch and calling it a day. Pots and tone caps are overrated.

VVT does weird stuff on Epis. Tone increases volume but I don’t hear that on my Gibson.
My Gibby 2015 bird is one of the worse offenders I have when it comes to the tone knob controlling the volume of the bass (as long as the volume knob isn’t on max).

TB is my only social media and I live a satisfied life not knowing so much about far too many people's business. I have no problems with others benefiting, but I personally choose the benefit for me is not being on it.
TB is the only social media site I’m on. I have a LinkedIn page but I mostly ignore it and it’s way out of date.

Bradford pears? They’re known as invasive now.
My last house had about a dozen large Bradford pear trees. Every wind storm we would get would tear about half the trees down. Lop em off about three feet above the ground and the grow back in a couple of years. Aristocrat Pear trees are much stronger and pretty much have no problems in the wind.

That sounds right. Maybe this is Bubinga. It was weird looking rosewood if that's what it was.

Yes that’s bubinga. With the characteristic blurred grain line.
