Torana was the Holden “red” 6 in 186 or 202 ci sizes. Very similar looking to the Chev 250 ci but scaled down, internally a little different as well.what motor? this is an interesting twist to the AMC Rambler/SCRambler, IKA (Industrias Kaiser Argentina) Torino 380W. This one was styled by PininFarina and used the big Jeep Tornado OHC inline 6 with locally designed intake and exhaust manifolds breathing through 3 sidedraft Webers into a ZF tranny, sweet, sweet sounding… talk about a Franken car!……,holy grail status in Argentina, like owning a Ferrari…

Charger was the Valiant “Hemi” 6 in 245, 250 & 265 ci sizes (over time). The Hemi was an abandoned US truck engine (“D engine” I think it was called) to replace the Slant 6, then they thought “just stick a V8 in”
Chrysler Australia took over the development and made a great engine out of it. The marketers read semi domed head with angled valves and thought “Hemi”, even though it isn’t really.
