Yes, sir. You got that right. I'm shocked how often you stop to hold a door for someone and half the time they walk in and past you not saying a thing, as if holding the door for them was your position in life. I don't think many of the last few crops of parents know manners and basic decency have to (and should) be taught.

True. At least recorded and played on whatever speakers we are using. In person I bet there is more noticeable differences. But I've been wrong before.

A nice Pbass is a must for most players. I use mine for bBooker T stuff and Shadows stuff. And some Clash. Because I can. There’s nothing wrong though with playing Thunderbirds all the time instead.

First off, I agree 100% - how a bass sounds is in the players hands. In that regard...

As someone who owns a (Gibson) '64 II - I am impressed by how good the Epi VP T-bird IV sounds. Not going to compare the two, just acknowledging the way it sounds. I bought a NOS one for a very affordable cost to gild/refinish and sell. When I got it and played it - I was blown away by how it sounded, nearly enough to just keep it 'as is' and add it to my stable. Instead, I gilded it, had Pat Wilkins do his final-finish magic on it and offer it for sale as a great sounding bass with a unique Gildaxe finish. A win-win for whoever steps up to the plate.

How's this for FedMess delivery? On the steps (light rain off and on today so far). Plenty of room on the porch. I don't know if they hire stupid people or just idiots. A couple weeks ago the same dude backed his truck up over the curb (gunning it to get it over the curb), and into the grass to turn around after it had rained. Wife saw it and ran out and yelled to not drive in the grass. Who knows if he heard, but just drove off. Why is it difficult to understand that blacktop is for vehicles and grass is not?

I suspect he heard her. Paybacks are hell.
