Right? The cycling still makes sense with instruments and amps (other than those in practice spaces or dedicated stages) but not for pedal boards.
The initial use case (switchboards) might see a plug or jack used more in a week to month than a touring rig sees in years.
Ha, I suppose if you're really happy with the pedalboard layout, you could go in and solder wires directly from the grounds/positives in each effect to eachother with 16 gauge wire. Bypass the issue of the connector entirely...

Might be a pain if you need to swap something out though.

If the pedals had Phoenix blocks for the ins and outs you could hardwire them without needing to solder.

We should start planning for the 2025 GTG soon. Should that be its own convo already or stay here until we have tentative time & location?
Jeff indicated a possible GTG in Germany. That's a great idea...but, unfortunately for me, I can't make two European trips next year as I am already scheduled to be in the UK in October. :crying:
