I have the Desktop/rack mount receiver
When I got it (20 years ago) the pedal receiver was not available.
I have TC tuner first thing on my pedalboard, I don't notice any signal degradation.
But I also run a wireless, so that's a buffer right at the bass.

Got it. Mine is only about half that age. Thinking about it a little, it might be more than ten years old now. It has a lot of mileage on it at this point.
Wait, that’s confusing. First, now the tuner is seeing a modified signal. Secondly, are you using the tuner as a kill switch?

Mine has LOTS of hours on it.
Same here, but a Sonic Research Turbo Tuner. True bypass, for what it's worth. Never had a noticeable signal issue.
Unfortunately what mine came with isn't common at all. Just the two pins to keep it from turning.
I do not have any equipment to measure frequency.
