It's very well done. The matte black finish on Goth T-birds is actually a great base for artwork.

And the artist did it right by filling in all the pickguard holes and shooting the painting with a clear overcoat to seal it all in. Looks like quality work.

VVTT with a 3 position microswitch, the pickups were SD '61 P Bass that I potted into NOS '70s Gibson covers, it was a fun beater, kind of wished I'd kept it.

If you can play slap bass, you can do it on a Thunderbird, they sound really good. I work at it on using Duran Duran's "New Religion", I can do it, but my technique is not as fluid as I'd like - my fault, not the bass.

I don’t think a thunderbird can slap, but I suspect a thunderbird player with basic or better slap skills could easily slap a Tbird.
