I can't think of 1 single reason to play a Jazz bass unless it has Thunderbird pickups in it (I have 2, including a '66 I've had since '83). Of course I don't slap, so there's that.

Oh my! Congratulations!
Probably buy a new one because…One thing about my Jazz is that the trussrod is as tight is will go and if I happen to get too much neck relief in the future, I’ll most likely need to purchase another-
American Standard necks are difficult to find and the new Jazz basses have five mounting screws so my only options seem to be either get a Fender Mexican neck or go with someone like Warmoth.
So I wonder what would you do or recommend in the event I would need a new neck?
Nah. SIT Powersteels!Thought you had a Thunderbird....
If it plays and feels like my '06 it will be a joy to play. La Bella Black Nylon (tapes) are really a nice match. Looks great with the black hardware as a bonus.
Super Js then!Yeah, oddly enough all my Js, etc. look, sound, and play like Thunderbirds.
Warmoth or Musikraft. One thing about my Jazz is that the trussrod is as tight is will go and if I happen to get too much neck relief in the future, I’ll most likely need to purchase another-

You could pop a brass washer under the nut, the rod is not necessarily maxed out, you just ran out of threads. One thing about my Jazz is that the trussrod is as tight is will go and if I happen to get too much neck relief in the future, I’ll most likely need to purchase another-

Warmoth necks are great, but they come standard with steel bars. The makes them super stable, but heavy. One thing about my Jazz is that the trussrod is as tight is will go and if I happen to get too much neck relief in the future, I’ll most likely need to purchase another-

Is a spacer an option? That would allow you to keep the original neck, which is important. One thing about my Jazz is that the trussrod is as tight is will go and if I happen to get too much neck relief in the future, I’ll most likely need to purchase another-

very impressed with Warmoth, top notch outfit, awesome staff...Warmoth necks are great, but they come standard with steel bars. The makes them super stable, but heavy.
They will do carbon fiber rods for an upcharge.
Yes- I could keep it - there is another option where I might get my luthier friend to clamp heat press it for me. But as a 50 plus year repair veteran he’s skeptical-Is a spacer an option? That would allow you to keep the original neck, which is important.
