Thunderbird Club

I do some finger tapping and I can get pretty silly about it at times, its great for warming up the fingers but otherwise I use it very rarely with my band and when I do its pretty low tempo for short periods of time. What this guy is doing doesnt have a soul.
I dunno. His playing almost sounded like a classical guitarist there for a moment. Playing that way and getting that kind of sound is just fine with me. I sure can't do it, but if I could, it would be a useful skill for some circumstances. Beats me what those might be, but I have found that every time I learn a new trick, the right place to put it turns up.

And you shouldnt, I probably should have added a caveat that states that the material you are about to witness may cause depression.

It's a good thing we had things like, The Thunderbirds are Go, Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons, Couragous Cat and Minute Mouse, Speed Racer, Bugs Bunny...........
Made me the freaked out person I am today

I forgot Felix the Cat and The Master Cylinder.

Likewise here. My upright has seen the insides of more bars than any of my 'Birds at this point. It got flogged pretty hard in a parking lot last night. It's had it's neck broken at both ends once each. It is a warrior, but it could be a tougher warrior. I'm not a huge fan of bat holes in place of f-holes, but that's OK. Give me cat-eye holes like on some Synchromatic guitars and I would be really happy. And electric blue metal flake paint. That would be about right.
Cat's eyes and blue metal flake on an upright?!?!? Hell, I'd go to the show just to see that!!!

Dude there is a rule I live by and that is to absolutely never "judge or condemn those that do use and/or appreciate" things I dont like or understand. I could exist carefree and easy in any circumstance as long as I stick to my own likes and beliefs whilst refraining from criticism. Just because I despise something doesnt alter my take on its value. I will never pass judgement on other peoples beliefs and passions. I will however throw out my 2 cents every now and then. In Canadian funds thats like the equivalent of what?......minus 28 cents on the greenback?.
It depends. Give it another year and the Canadian dollar might be the world's currency and the US dinar might be birdcage linings.

I can solve that problem, and all the worlds financial problems with one simple plan with which most folks would jump right on board. We simply do away with the concept of currency altogether. We exchange alcoholic beverages in lieu of money:)

Depression??? A soft economic climate causes "depression". A poor sense of self worth causes "depression". A chemical imbalance in the brain causes "depression". Hell... a three legged puppy may even cause "depression". THIS is something else! THIS is whatever is just beyond depression's horizon, and beneath it's surface. One step closer to the edge, and we would be in "A Clockwork Orange" territory! THIS sick twisted abomination, is the icepick slowly being inserted into the eye of depression! My advice? RUN!!! Run away and don't look back!
Any depression I may have lingering beneath the surface has just been eliminated after reading yet another fine and insightful response by you. Thats why you are the Fixer.

No way Dude!, I dont like "Fodera, or Ken Smith, or any of the 99,000,000 other "Jazz Bass inspired". I only like Birds,Ricks,Fender Precisions and Daions. No fancy shmancey :poop:, just the good ol' reliables:thumbsup:.

Ok, I do love me a nice old-school design Smith bass. Played one once, it was just beautiful.
I played one of his Chinese imports a while back at Sam Ash that blew away every 7ender they had on the wall, and for less money than a lot of them. Not something I'd get a lot of use out of, but it was a really nice instrument, especially for the price.

Anyone who questions my integrity and or well being really oughtta dig down deep and feel for me ya know what I mean?, if Ive ever been misunderstood its because I come from Winnipeg bum f##k Manitoba. Seriously!, watch these men in the video!......this is what Fn' happens here!. If you can watch the entire episode I'll send you bannock eh!.......and a link to the Beachcombers.

Ok, you win! I couldn't even make it half way through the video.

This is what Canadian Content broadcast rules gets you. They won't play Rush, instead you get this and Justin Bieber. On behalf of all Canadians, thank you LA for selling Justin Bieber a house there.
On behalf of those of us that live in the Calabasas area, we'll gladly give you a years supply of fresh eggs if you just take Bieber back. :D
