Went and got my EB-3 today. Traded a nice Squier P-neck (played it for quite a few years, a regular gig-stick), a JBL K-140 driver and a Peavey cab I'd modded for it. Took it to the practice space on the way to my next stop to pick up a piece of weekend work, and ran it into the Crate head. The available tones are a bit limited, it is what it is, but I got something I like out of it in short order. Nice little bass! I'm playing it Saturday at a street fest in Newport with the reggae band.

And here she is... very poorly done selfie, but the vibe is there: I am pleased.

Your gonna love it!, I love mine and Im so glad I got one. I had GAS for one a few months back and @hillerup posted his and then I knew it was only a matter of time for me.

Nice idea! I wonder if I'd totally ruin the effect on my Blackbird if I swapped bridges...

Probably won't actually. But I like the effect you got.

:rollno:Carlo, I know you're smarter than that. No Fenders didn't come with stands. But you obviously forgot Fenders came with flat headstocks that aren't nearly as prone to breakage as the tilted Gibson headstock when hitting the floor. :eyebrow:

HAH!!! You crack me up! Never a missed opportunity:roflmao:

Stand or not... they were almost 2 inches wide & an inch thick at the nut! You could cave a skull in with it, tunnel your way of of prison with it, pry a dump truck out of a mud bog with it, then bolt it back on the bass & play a gig with it!:bassist:
