Do it.... Three 10 " Epifani UL Cab. Schroeder 12 PL cabinet, Schroeder 12-12 Lite cabinet, and 1500 watt Crown XLS amp, with a Demeter HPB1 preamp. Three 10s and three 12s. Don't get no better, and will cut through any gig, period. And all cabs are neo drivers and light weight. Super efficient, and high SPL output. And high power capability. Wake up guys. It ain't that costly to have the best. If you really want it. Just gotta go for it.

Looks like someone does a lot of crunches in an effort to look good while doing karaoke.

Remember when everything made was excessively large, heavy and bullet proof?. My 1977 Traynor Monoblock head weighs 40+ pounds(forged cast iron or something) but check out the interior, overly spacious with tons of room to spare for the electronics to breathe and stretch out. My current Traynor Dynabass 300 weighs like 10 pounds or less and pushes out 75 watts less and it can fit inside this Monoblock casing. Check out the Hammond transformer. Crazy.

Yep back in the days when you could almost see the signal flow. I’m sure you know, but Don’t Touch the terminals on those power supply caps!

Oh, I can sure attest to that. But thank goodness it hasn’t let to medical attention. The Tbird I just bought has a Babicz from the factory, would that be the same one?
Yes. That's the one. I love those bridges, but I also don't do windmills. It's one more reason that every bass should have ashtrays, although I have to admit, I only have one that has a Babicz and a cover at this point. There are four more of various kinds that have a naked Babicz. That's indecent as well as dangerous.

I love the big blue caps. I had one that was beginning to swell just a little and replaced it. The cap I replaced it with wasn't quite as exciting to look at, but certainly big enough (physically) and at least as large (capacity). I don't remember exactly, but it had plenty of headroom, which is partly what makes a vintage Acoustic sound like it does.

So, back to the big blue cap. I gave it to a friend who is a high school math and science teacher. He was a little nervous about what it could do, but he charged it up a bit with 24 volts and then hooked an incandescent light bulb to it. The bulb stayed on for some absurd length of time. When you hear that those caps are trying to kill you, believe it!

I only see 5 speakers..
....Details, details.
Maybe he's including the speaker area of the bass cab tweeters along with the speakers in the karaoke machine?

I'm sure it does sound awesome, but I've never been a big fan of Epifani or Schroeder cabs, a bit too hifi for my tastes, very crisp clear cabs with hardly any coloration, almost sterile sounding to my ears. I like a warm sounding cab as long as it doesn't go all muddy when pushed hard. Bergantino does that for me. Heaven for me would be a twin stack of HT322's (which would have 2x12's and 4x10's). I'm half way there.

In college at the lab we used to charge caps like these to 3 or 400 Volts and holding them by the case would lob them at someone and yell catch!!:laugh:. Probably get arrested for assault today,... ah the good all days..;)

So with you G, on 2-HT322's.
At first i thought the karaoke machine was some kinda robot. Couldn't figure it out at first.

A friend in a band here in New Orleans bought one of these full rigs. It is LOUD with a capital FU! We played a gig with another local band, and the bass player ran two amps. An SVT/810 for his clean bass and the Lemmy rig (one cab only) for his distortion. It was the loudest bass sound I've ever heard. He was overpowering the PA system and this is a big club with a nice/big PA system!

You and I need to get together some time, if for no other reason than to stack a pair of HT322 Bergs and proceed to terrorize the neighborhood.:roflmao::thumbsup:

Honestly, i would love that. But i'm sure we can find another reason or two to get together for some bass time fun.
There's always that winery i told you about way back when...........

I've played thru tons of Marshall stuff with my LP guitars but to be quite honest, it never even dawned on me to try the Marshall route for my basses. Maybe ignorance is bliss, because I'm blissfully content with my Bergs.

My old gu*****st had a Marshall JCM 2000 that I would play my bass through while connected to my bass cab and the sound wasdrooldrooldrooldrooldrool. I love Marshall amplification.
