Miami sounds like a much leaner version of same. Miami is very Cuban, also sub-tropical of course. I don't know what exactly that has to do with it, but I'll venture that all that grease and the Miami heat/humidity is desirable to avoid.

Obesity is a big problem in the hispanic Caribbean..

Left to right -

Pelham (duh) Epiphone with 66 Thunderbuckers, bridge upgrade. The neck is from one of those Vintage Icon/Wilkinson relic basses I have always been interested in, finally found a cheap one to harvest the neck from. I am going to remount the bridge, because it left the factory a few mm off center. Which kind of screws up how the strings align on the neck, the bridge's string spacing adjustment won't completely eliminate it.

Alumnibird has been posted all over TB before, EGC neck on a Epiphone that was completely painted (fretboard too) under the influence of cocaine. Upgraded bridge and Lace Aluma bass bar pickups because aluminum. The worst neck dive in the world. I had a pro convert this one for me.

Epiphone Goth, pretty much stock except for the P-bass neck. Some boo boos and mistakes made but nothing preventing it from being played.

Bluey and Blackie were kind of me learning to use a router, my badass father-in-law gave me his old one. He's the best.

High revving boxer mid engine with a perfect 50/50 balance and only two seats.
light, agile, fast and in GT4 trim capable of besting just about anything in its class on a race track.

Edit: Miami's version of Cuban cuisine sounds leaner...

There are still a lot of Cubanos Grandes walking around Miami. And it's orobably not all that different anyway.

I made the mistake of including their name in the copy on eBay, which is easily found by computers searching key-words. "Vox-like", or "Ric-like" and that was enough. The Vox brand was bought by some US guy - no longer a British company. As stated, both were one-offs and hybrids of each (one was headless!) - actually design improvements which isn't hard to do with a Ric. I would understand it if I were actually producing them and they were copies.

I used to sell surplus gear on EBay; just nylon pouches. I had a few cancelled by Ebay and warnings sent because they said they were gun parts. They're not; they were pouches to hold magazines. Once I figured out what the keywords were, I left out some letters and replaced them with stars or intentionally misspelled them, like "m*gaz*ne". When a site gets that big with as many rules as they have, algorithms are they only way to attempt to police it.

OOOH! Recipe: Get some good sausage meat 1lb and a pack of puff pastry. Sausage meat in a bowl, add 1 finely chopped onion, 4 garlic cloves crushed, salt and pepper; mix, make 1 long sausage roll sealing the join in the pastry with water, coat with egg, cut into 1 1/2" lengths and chuck in the oven at 180C for 35 - 45 minutes. Best sausage rolls ever, trust me

Had one recently at WDW Food and Wine festival. As you said but also wrapped w/ a strip of bacon b4 frying. Tasted like more.
