(that's ONE... everybody gets one)
Nicely done! Outrageous metalflake would be good. Disco ball would be even better. I have thought about trying to snag a fiver off and on for a while, but haven't figured out what I would do with the extra string. Not sure how this will show, but I just won this auction.

The case is a apparently beat up, but if nothing else will help get it here. (My Epi TB case is a bit underwhelming.) 2009. Pretty stoked. Assuming I can get my short, fat fingers around the neck properly, I can tune the IV back up to E and just play them both normally.
If this had fallen through, I was sorely tempted to get the TV Silver IV that's on ebay. I don't actually need another 4-string but that would be fun.
Now I have to decide whether to leave the V alone, or paint it something like red metalflake. Or cover it in tiny mirrors. The Thunderbird disco ball. Might blind people, tho...
HEY, CONGRATS!!!Not sure how this will show, but I just won this auction.

Disco ball mirrors would probably add another pound. Silver metalfalke would be an option. Though metalflake paint would be a bit heavy, too.Nicely done! Outrageous metalflake would be good. Disco ball would be even better.
I hear you can play it, kinda like the other 4.I have thought about trying to snag a fiver off and on for a while, but haven't figured out what I would do with the extra string.
HEY, CONGRATS!!!
I'm harboring fantasies of getting one of those & turning a 5 string into a 4 string somewhere down the road. I LOVE that finish! I wish they would've made it available on a passive model... but such things are easily rectified![]()

I need a big neck, and prefer a wider string spacing... Plus... I think it'd be cool. I'm no luthier, but I believe I could pull that offThanks!
Why convert? Wider string spacing?
I have bigger fish to fry firstMy local L&M (and many others in the province) have the natural finish 4 in stock.

Well... in that regard... those electronics don't have a great rep... but I understand that's easily addressed. @GBassNorthYup. I was into electronics long before I could play a guitar. I've been seriously considering rewiring my IV for stereo just because. I rewired my first electric (Hagstrom Model 1 that cost me $20 + strings initially) at least a dozen times before settling on switches for parallel/serial, in/out phase, either p/u alone. The very first thing I tried with it was stereo, but all I had to play through was an 8-track player with dead heads and a pair of 18" bass bins. Hardly optimal for a wide variety of six string tones, even though it sounded very cool for what it did (lots of low end fuzz). Oh, yeah, and it still has a pair of original Dimarzio SDS-1s in it.
Anyway, I'll be listening to this very critically. It will really have to prove itself if it doesn't want to go passive.

The case is apparently beat up, but if nothing else will work for shipping. (My Epi TB case is a bit underwhelming.) 2009. Pretty stoked. Assuming I can get my short, fat fingers around the neck properly, I can tune the IV back up to E and just play them both normally.

So sorry JJR58. Life sucks sometimes. All the best.My uncle past away last Wednesday night. So needless to say I've been off the grid.
I see there's about 40 pages or so to look at.
Not sure I can tackle that right now.
Love those! Poor man's Porsche..I went to see a friend today. On the way, I passed this:

I thought I remembered somebody here expressing interest in one of these recently. I ran around it with the camera real quick when I was there. Shoot me a PM if ya wanna see 'em.
(Hey y'all... feel free to chime in with me if you feel so inclined)... it is my considered opinion, that our Queen should possess this ride. I mean... come ON!!! Imagine... the top is down... sportin' her best pair of "Jackie O's"... chuggin' on a bottle of champagne... black scarf trailing playfully behind... shooooooooooooot... I'd proudly help "ponzi" that into fruition![]()
