Aside a little, Jeez I ordered some quilted Maple veneer, 2 leaves 10" by 10' £150 It is so difficult to get over here as it isn't ever sold outside the States because you greedy buggers keep it all! I nearly died when I got the price for that!

I didn't know they existed any more. Shows what I know. Being boring means I miss out on some things, but I will say the pop-up ads can be a little weird at times. The bot that decides what I might click on has some pretty strange ideas at times.

Tour update! Driving along side the Hood river with Washington State on one side and Oregon on the other. Absolutely breathtaking. Tried to take some pictures from the van, but none of em looked like what I was seeing

Pictures don't look the same. That's a spectacular part of the world. I think it's possible to spend a lifetime exploring Washington and Oregon, and even then, there would still be new places.

Portland gig sure was fun, and I got to meet @dieselman which was a bonus. Super nice guy!

When i was living in PDX, i use to make that drive quite frequently going back and forth to Denver.
Going through Idaho and Utah. Just amazing parts of the country visually.

Absolutely. Plus, the Tractor is a long walk or short drive from home. Play there, and I'll cancel whatever else might be going on to make it. I was in New Mexico Friday and Saturday, so no shows for me. I don't think there's such a thing as shows in Artesia, New Mexico, anyway. I flew in and out of Roswell. The bar was a little wierd:

I thought i came across not too long ago (possibly in this very thread!)

Maybe even including a summary of characteristics, reviews, tonal impressions, etc.

I know there's a few threads like 'Vintage Pro VS the Pro Vintage' and various one vs one comparisons, but im looking for something a bit more period complete without being too technical, i suppose.

Can somebody point me to it, or did i just imagine it?

If there isn't, we probably ought to start one. I have only played a fairly early bolt-on Epi 'Bird with a huge neck and a Pro IV with a noodle neck and active electronics that got the boot after a few months.

Of course not. I took that picture with my cell phone. Jimmy Hoffa excused himself just before I took the picture, but he was there. He's a little camera shy for some reason.

And just for the record, there were a group of hooligan aliens out in the parking lot causing a ruckus. Nobody seemed to mind. It's a strange place. That's all I can say.

My entertainment for Friday evening was going into the local western store. It was a cultural experience all its own, but there were some squealing teenage girls there. It was a weird place for teenage girls to be squealing, looking at "cute" guns and cowboy hats, but it just goes to show that some things are completely universal.

I'm a little disappointed that no one mentioned Pat Benatar's appearance in the vid I posted. That's Katie, the gal that fronts the Benatar tribute that played earlier in the day. She's 58 and looks better than most women in their 30's and 40's. She has found the fountain of youth.

I know that I took a beating here when I mentioned that I'd like to see a PJ Tbird. I didn't realize that it was a real thing until I saw this:

Has anyone here got any experience with the Schecter Sixx bass? Just curious if the PJ pups are standard size and can be replaced with better ones, etc. It looks like it might make an interesting project platform... I'd been considering a Fenderbird project anyway but to get to incorporate a set of G&L SB-2 PJ pups without having to fill and rout to try to make the PJ's fit would be awesome!

It isn't used for anything decorative. Just people in Northwest N America use it as kindling every summer.
