Changing the subject back to more or less real things - I just got an email from Steve saying the bridge cover went out today. That means I should have it in hand sometime next week. It will go onto the bass shortly after it arrives. The chrome project progresses!
Some I don't remember. Of what I do? Somethings are best kept ... Silent. Suffice it to say i remember having a good time
Being a car nut I've owned two Corvettes in my life. A red 1971 Stingray LT-1 330hp 350cuin screamer and a 1974 Laguna Secca Gray LS-4 454cuin beast. They were fun to drive in a straight line and stop light to stop light, but quickly became a handful on twisty canyon roads. I was about 30 years old at the time and married to a car nut so my vehicular hobbies were fully condoned. Still married to the same wonderful gal but I focus my hobby dollars a bit more on basses these days and a bit less on cars (which have become insanely expensive).

My '68 Corvette, the only year they didn't say 'StingRay' on the side. The designers didn't want them called that. The sales department and customers did. By 1969 they were badged Sting Ray.
The happiest days owning a Corvette is the first and the last.
My current ride, 425 HP '06 JWT twin turbo 350Z. 60 WAS the new 20 for me.
