Wanna chime in here. What's the best 'agent' to clean poly and which for Gibson's nitro?

I emailed a company that produces silicon and wax free, ph neutral but not sure if I should try it. Guy at the store recommended dunlop, but I read it's crap.

The Chevelle Laguna wasn't exactly my cup of tea but you could get one with a 454cuin engine that I'm sure would light the rear tires up a bit...

Its mostly a matter of keeping your hands clean as best you can, and being diligent about wiping it down when you're done playing it. Epiphone will send you the correct manual. Epiphone Support

Thunderbirds and irresponsible horsepower are a good combination. Thunderbirds ARE irresponsible horsepower.

As far as keeping bass guitars and everything else clean, I can't say I worry about it too much. Wipe down with a microfiber rag seems to work. If there's a bit more grime than a dry cloth can handle, I wet it a little. This is probably really bad advice if you are a person who wants a perfect mirror finish, but since the newest instrument I own is an EB that has a matte finish, it works for me. Funny thing about that finish - it seems to be burnishing really nicely. Everything else is well used and shows evidence of that use. There are bumps, bruises, and wear that just doesn't polish out.

All of my basses are poly finished. I just use Dunlop's furniture polish and a microfiber cloth. Why Dunlop's? Because it works well enough and it's a nice compact sized bottle. Mostly because it's a convenient sized bottle.

I've used Dunlop and Gibson polish. No clue if there is a difference or not but both seemed to work great. I don't polish regularly tho. I wipe dust off more often than anything else but I live in a pretty dry climate so dust happens whether you are playing it or its sitting in a stand.
