Thunderbird Club

@dagrev Don't you need another white Thunderbird??

Anyone looking for an NR??

Get behind me satan--you tempter of good men! :D Having two white birds now, I think I'm good. Kind of, anyway.

I do like the NR. One of those with VP pups would be killer!

I have seen it on basses and guitars but no clue what happens once removed. There is a place in Tucson that wraps guitars and basses and they claim it can be removed without damage.

The Ouija Bird is really cool.

Yes, I'm aware of the NYC shop. The Manny's near me has actually opened and I went for a skeg earlier. Amp selection isn't great but they have a lot of guitars and some Gibson basses coming. Good selection of pedals (most shops only carry Boss) and upstairs ... PA gear, samplers and all the stuff I'm really interested in atm. My cynicism was misplaced.
Pleasant surprises are a welcome change from the usual.

Those pickups are done. It is only going to get worse. Send them to me for proper disposal.

And if you get blood on them, not only is the problem worse, but I may have to charge you a small fee for the disposal of the biohazard waste. Know what, because you are Thunderbird player, I'll waive the biohazard disposal fee. Just trying to help out.
What would we do without you?

I'm going to wrap my VP, just a matter of time.

Just trying to help out with everyone's waste pickup disposal problems.
OK, everybody send him your dead strings. Thanks man !!
PillO! Free strings for life! Jackpot!

Well, the offer was for waste pickups. But sure. Just put your old dead strings in an email and send them on over and I will get rid of them.

Unrelated, anyone in the market for garrotte wires? I think I will soon have excess supply.

Lads/Lasses: My pups are developing a buildup. Might be from me - sweat or oils from my palm as this is where i tend to mute.

Thunderbucker site says to use toothpaste. Anybody else had this issue and have a remedy or can confirm the toothpaste approach?

That's mojo! Don't wipe it off.
