There we go - Skinny Minnie Miller!

...As well as the milk I put blue food colouring into.
Don't get me started on green eggs and ham.

If playing guitar, I gotta have my pedals. However, for bass I prefer not to have any. My tuner is rack mounted and turned on the entire night (I sometimes use a clip on to tune up before a gig). Never got into EQing my bass with pedals, my amp has all the EQ I need. If I need to vary the sound of my bass with more or less attack, brighter, softer, deeper, or more gritty sounds I normally change my right hand position or tone knob setting and favor one pickup over the other. Or I just switch to a different bass with the right strings/pups/control settings to deliver the sound I need.
Great info, I'll have to compare notes tomorrow. How are you measuring the neck relief?... Got the ‘15 more or less dialed in after the Cobalt Flats installation. I’m liking them so far. Decided on neck relief at .012. E and A strings a tad under 5/64 at the 17th and the D and G a tad over 4/64. Intonation is pretty much dialed in. I’ll check everything again in a week or two and may still play with bridge PU height.
Never tried it with a cucumber. (Keep it clean guys). I'll give it a spin tomorrow.Hendricks requires cucumber rather than lime. Lime ruins Hendricks. If I am ordering a Hendricks, first question is "do you have cucumber?". If I get a puzzled look, it isn't a gin place.
Never heard of that and I'd bet there isn't a bar within 50 miles that even stocks it. But when it comes to Gin I'll give just about anything a try. So off to the liquor store I go tomorrow.this is my favorite..

I might just try that tomorrow. (Apparently along with a few other things)There's a drink called Negroni, make it with Bombay......Heavenly, Mr. Liver approves!
Gin has a neat little early warning feature, once your face starts to go numb you've had enough. Unlike Tequila, which I can drink all night long as long as I'm sitting down, stand up and it's face to the floor.I stick to good scotch, neat, or good rum, also neat. Both have a certain self limiting quality that I find useful for self preservation. Beer also has a good governor - the belly usually fills up before too many bad outcomes.
Yeah, I think this predates the Hulkster by several decades...Hate to burst your bubble - but the wrestling before Hulk Hogan was real... staged. I mean, like I said - they were wrestlers and they framed the show around the concept of wrestling... but it was showbiz - entertainment, and it has been for a long time.

My daughter came home from pre-school raving about a book they were read called green eggs and ham. So, having food colouring around, I made green eggs and ham for dinner.Definitely unnatural.
When I was a tyke, Dad fixed split pea soup one Saturday. None of us kids would touch it. A week or so later, he made "green eggs and ham". We wolfed it down and asked for more! He got away with several times before we caught him taking the split pea soup labels off the cans. Busted!
But by then we were hooked. We ran with it. Dad's brilliant.

Not a gin drinker, can’t stand quinine. The taste just does me in, whether in tonic water or Schweppes Bitter Lemon.
The quinine is what makes it good! And it prevents malaria! And prevents nighttime leg cramps!

Yeah, got the malaria story from Dad (WW2 Morotai & Balikpapan).
Still tastes like bleach to me.
(Not that I know what bleach tastes like)
Oooh! I hate that... I get that after drinking a lot of beer at night. Usually only if sitting around drinking, which, naturally, I endeavor to not do.Are those the same as 'restless legs syndrome'?

My wife used to get it all the time... what a wondrously weird and lousy experience that is.
No.
Restless leg syndrome is a sensation that is relieved by movement - some call it "the jimmy legs". It is a sensory problem. Usually easily treated with a low dose of dopamine agonist.
Night time leg cramps is muscle cramping - an uncomfortable and uncontrolled tightening of muscle and is often relieved by movement. It is a motor problem. Quinine acts as a mild muscarinic antagonist to reduce nerve impulses to the muscle which usually results in reduced muscle tone.
Then there is periodic limb movement. It most often involves legs but can also be arms. It is an involuntary twitch, sometimes violent, and is a motor "problem". There is no specific treatment.
Not as much fun as 'restless eye syndrome'.Are those the same as 'restless legs syndrome'?
