Watched Brian Johnson's Life On The Road: Mick Fleetwood. As they flashed through old pic, there was an old one with John McVie with a Thunderbird. Can't find it with Bing or Google.

Stupidity is everywhere, not just Florida. They just tend to go and congregate there more than most places. Stay safe! Always carry a Thunderbird.Frankly Floridians could use a dose of fear right about now. I have had to turn down way too many irresponsible invitations to gather. Much of the state revels in moronic redneck logic. Just staying put and practicing with the best sounding, coolest basses on the planet.
Tell you what. If you buy it and don't like it, I'll buy it cheap--since you have forgotten about giving me the '67. Sound fair?I've been following/longing for this for awhile. Doesn't seem to have a lotta interest. 'Course about the time I decide to "take the plunge" I'll be a dollar late and a day short.(2013 Gibby NR)

I do believe that is the first one for me in like five years around here. And it wasn’t intentional. Really. It wasn’t.Ahem?
All the same, congratulations.I do believe that is the first one for me in like five years around here. And it wasn’t intentional. Really. It wasn’t.
Yes! Forget the alt tuning--just get one and have different strings for a different kind of wonderful! The VP has me spoiled. I still enjoy the standard Epi IV, but there's something about the VP. I may end up getting another VP...
Hmmm. Don't think I've heard of them. Great if a Thunderbird was involved.Flipped some discs today. Came across this one. Anyone else like Hooters?

I was one of the poor ones. Pioneer receiver. BIC table. Criterion speakers. Others had fancy Onkyo, Yamaha, dual tables, ESS speakers etc. one guy had B&O stuff. Seriously. In a freaking dorm room. But when I wanted to make noise, I hooked up to my Kasino 200 and cranked it.Some guys in my dorm had spent insane amounts of money on steroes. They sounded good and were LOUD. But nothing in that dorm (or any other I visited) sounded as good as this one guys's setup that included a high end (Ampex?) reel to reel he'd salvaged from a radio station and one of those amps. He'd tweaked all of his gear quite a bit.. At 18, he had more practical knowledge about tube technology than some of the EE profs who'd been there for years.
You're an attorney, you know to be careful in verbiage used! Your skill has been showing over those years!I do believe that is the first one for me in like five years around here. And it wasn’t intentional. Really. It wasn’t.
B&O stuff is pretty trick....many TC Electronics engineers start there..I was one of the poor ones. Pioneer receiver. BIC table. Criterion speakers. No kidding!Fun-time interlude...

Well, when you DO get here... lemme know!
Well, you don’t seem to be the type that makes waves. But at least where I live, if they let you go for that reason, it could be discrimination. Just providing an option.View attachment 3757153 View attachment 3757154 I hope all are doing as well as can be expected. Eight months ago I took a maintenance job in a nursing home hoping to make it to 62. It's a good job with above average pay and excellent benefits. A employee tested early for the virus and due to my age and underlying health issues my Dr. told me not to report to work. I have not worked there a year yet so FLMA doesn't seem a to be a option. I am awaiting thier decision but I presume that I am soon to be unemployed.
Stay safe, keep busy. I started stripping the wallpaper in the kitchen.
It's not far from you.Fun-time interlude...

I’m proud to say Nels is my favorite guitarist. Bummed that I won’t be seeing him anytime soon with Wilco postponing their swing west. Should gone to their Mexico shindig a few months back. You know it - Nels first started playing with Watt in the '90s - I have a 45 ... the Black Gang I think they were called. At first Watt didn't know what to think about Nels but was drawn to his being out there. His beloved black '59 Jazzmaster originally belonged to Watt. It was nice to see him still playing it in the Wilco vid - I think it mostly lives in Chicago these days.
